Working with some of Ireland’s and the UK’s most forward-thinking companies, (including major utility suppliers, government departments
and finance houses) this leading telecoms provider connects people globally through their solutions. Having recently expanded from Ireland to the UK, with approximately 50% of staff based in Ireland and 50% based in the UK (Birmingham & Poole), they are now seeking a Web Developer / PHP Developer to join the team (travel may be required to visit offices in Birmingham & Ireland – most likely twice per year with all travel/accommodation expenses covered).
As part of their ongoing expansion they are now seeking an ambitious Web Developer / PHP Developer to primarily build websites, web-based applications and services. As the Web Developer / PHP Developer, you will be working within a small team in their Poole office so will need to have good team and time management skills. There is the possibility of remote working for some of the week, minimum 2 days per week office-based. The successful Web Developer / PHP Developer can expect to work in an atmosphere that is much based around getting the job done whilst in a relaxed environment.
To qualify… You should be a Web Developer / PHP Developer / Website Developer or similar with a great attitude and a CV that shows commercial experience of the following:
- Object-oriented PHP 5/7+;
- PHP MVC framework (i.e. Laravel, CodeIgnitor, Zend etc);
- GIT / Github.
Experience with Laravel PHP Framework and Bootstrap 3 or 4 would be an advantage. Bonus points for experience with Node JS, Socket.io, RabbitMQ or similar messaging systems.
