A talented Front End Developer / Web Developer (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript) with some UX experience is needed to join a specialist in the superyacht industry and its surrounding lifestyle. Based in North London expect play a key role in the development of their state of the art website.

Considered as the definitive online source for luxury yachting and lifestyle, this leading independent website is a media platform for yacht owners wanting to buy, sell or charter yachts, and provides all other information surrounding the yachting industry (video content, news, guidance, event coverage etc.) Due to continued success they are now seeking a Front End Developer / Web Developer (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript) to work as part of their in-house team (designers and programmers) to enhance user experience.

Joining as the Front End Developer / Web Developer (HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript) you will provide key input into the design and build of their new website, ensuring it’s attractive, useable and responsive. On a day to day basis expect to be involved with gathering and interpreting requirements, optimising solutions, designing and building User Interfaces and User Experience, streamlining processes, importing legacy modules to a new platform and much more.

To qualify… You should be an enthusiastic and self-motivated Front End Developer / Web Developer / JavaScript Developer / UX Designer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a similar Front End Development role;
  • Experience in HTML, CSS, SASS/LESS and JavaScript (jQuery);
  • Experience developing cross-browser and cross- platform compatible solutions (including mobile);
  • Respect for clean, understandable, efficient, well-structured code, with enthusiasm for finding the best solution to a problem;
  • The ability to take direction and work as part of an in-house team;
  • Strong design experience (prototypes, wireframes etc.);
  • Great collaboration skills – you should have the ability to take direction as well as work effectively as part of a team;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
