£250 – 350 p/d (2 Month Rolling Contract) – London, E14

A Documentation Specialist / Documentation Drafting Specialist / Paralegal (with experience drafting loan / lending agreements) is needed to join one of the fastest growing financial consultancy firms in London.  Based near Canary Wharf you’ll work on a transaction restructuring project for a Tier One Investment Bank.

With offices all over the world (Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Singapore, London and South Africa) and major clients in the financial sector, this rapidly expanding consultancy offer a unique combination of managed service solutions that truly solve their client’s business needs. They are now seeking a Documentation Specialist / Documentation Drafting Specialist / Paralegal with excellent attention to detail and previous experience drafting loan agreements to join their small, talented team.

Joining as a Documentation Specialist / Documentation Drafting Specialist / Paralegal you will be responsible for drafting amendment agreements to existing financial documents and other ancillary documents. On a day-to-day basis expect to: Liaise closely with front office groups and legal teams; Prepare accurate, legally binding loan documents; Review existing agreements; Produce document templates; Manage the closing of each loan transaction and much more.

To qualify… You should be a Documentation Specialist / Loan Agreement Specialist / Loan Documentation Specialist / Documentation Drafting Specialist / Loan Compliance Analyst / Paralegal / Legal Executive or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Proven experience in drafting lending documentation within the financial industry or within a law firm;
  • Familiar with basic finance, banking and corporate documents including board resolutions;
  • Experience in closing loan transactions;
  • A high attention to detail and strong organisation skills;
  • Advanced Microsoft Word skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • The ability to work efficiently and solve problems in a fast-paced environment;
  • The ability to coordinate multiple transactions at one time.
A law degree, GDL or LPC is advantageous
