A Business Analyst / UX Designer is needed to join an award winning software consultancy based within Somerset House. Expect an all-encompassing role involving design, testing, documentation, service and support.

Founded in 2007, this privately owned organisation provides bespoke software development and support services to an array of large and small clients. Due to continued growth they are now seeking a Business Analyst / UX Designer with a passion for design, creativity and quality to join the team.

Reporting to the Development Director the Business Analyst / UX Designer will be responsible for leading development projects from start to finish. Whether you are gathering requirements and estimates; organising meetings; taking the lead on UI design; creating mock-ups and wireframes; writing user guides and release announcements; completing individual change requests; planning and executing tests; assisting colleagues or supporting clients, it will be your excellent communication skills that ensures outstanding projects are delivered on time and to budget.

To qualify… You should be a Business Analyst / Digital Business Analyst / Technical PM / UX Designer / UI Designer / Information Architect with a CV that demonstrates:

  • An understanding of IT Project life-cycles;
  • Experience in a client / end user project management role;
  • Excellent organisational skills;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • A passion for effective design, both application and UI;
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and manage multiple, simultaneous projects and deadlines;
  • A willingness to travel to client locations globally, including stays away from home.
Experience of front-end web development would be advantageous.
