A 3rd Line Support Engineer / Managed Services Specialist is needed to join a specialist provider of fully managed ID Solutions. Expect a varied role supporting managed service contracts for leading brands.

Offering a wide portfolio of services, ranging from expert consultancy to fully managed solutions their ‘raison d’etre’ is to make sure customers maximise their return in identity management technology.

Joining as the 3rd Line Support Engineer / Managed Services Specialist you will provide first class support to a portfolio of managed service contracts whilst visiting customers for quarterly technical reviews and requirement gathering workshops.  Once your fully trained in next generation Identity and Access Management technologies (Ping Identity Suite), you will utilise your technical support background to lead project workstreams, mentor team members, and provide face to face and 2nd line support to ensure customers get the most from their managed services.

To qualify… You should be a 3rd Line Support Engineer / Managed Services Specialist / Project Engineer / IT Project Manager / Technical Support Engineer / Managed Services Support Executive / Linux Systems Administrator /  IT Support Engineer / Tech Support Analyst / IT Support Executive  or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a 3rd line support role;
  • You are comfortable working face to face with customers;
  • The ability to manage your own workload;
  • Experience with Linux system admin;
  • Windows Server Administration;
  • The ability to independently troubleshoot and research technical solutions;
  • The ability to install / upgrade / patch relevant software with no assistance.
Any knowledge or exposure to federation / web SSO technologies (SAML, WS-Federation, Shibboleth, PingFederate, Okta) and identify lifecycle / provisioning systems (MIM, NetIQ IDM) would be advantageous but full training is provided. As would an ITIL Foundation qualification.
